βTurning up fishing the swim I was in the week before empty with the wind pushing in nicely it wasnβt long before I see a show, straight away I set about getting the rods back on the spots I had found the week before, it didnβt take long before the first one was away, well an hour actually, which turned out to be a lovely old mid twenty common, after returning that one it went quite until mid night when my other rod fished in open water was away, after a long hard fight I was greeted with yet another big common, on the scales it went 28lb which was another new pb, buzzzing, I decided to stay an extra night which Iβm pleased I did as again I had another nice common, 3 bites for 3 fish including a pb, will take thatβππ»
